Amazing attention to detail
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The Shoulder Pin Guard
The Shoulder Pin Guard System by Neil Melanson
Through his shoulder pin guard system, Neil not only offers us strong and effective technique but more inportantly he helps bring to our realization how much roomis still left for exploration and discovery in the yet very unexplored realm of grappling. Neil Melanson's shoulder pin guard system should be a wake up call to all these jiu-jitsu instructors out there. Make it real, make it count.

The Daisy Fresh Side Control System by Andrew Wiltse
Awesome stuff and very happy to support Andrew!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:RDLR & Leg entanglements
No Gi Open Guard Volume 3: RDLR & Leg Entanglements by Lachlan Giles
Im not even done first volume yet, but it is great already. Lachlan does a good job explaining the techniques easily and I love the offensive options with leg entanglements from bottom that lead to sweeps and great things. He also makes it look really easy. Really enjoyable so far, and can't wait to see what's on rest of set.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Choke submissions
Attacking The Neck by Jerry Burns
Great instruction. I've felt these chokes in real life from Professor Burns of which is the best instructor in East Tennessee
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Made me better
Survive and Escape by Matt Thornton
Summary: The main criteria for me is that this instructional improved my understanding of Jiu Jitsu and made me better. It exceeded my expectations. This is why I give it five stars. I'm planning to get the Matt's Closed Guard instructional next. Good: Sure, I need to work on the moves and the ideas presented here to reliably use them. Still, even without much drilling I already was able to successfully use the ideas provided here. Yesterday after a roll one of my partners came to me saying "What did I do wrong? I felt that I was making a mistake." When he got me into side control I used the "Iron Pillow" position advice to deny him access to my neck and arms. He got frustrated when he could not think of an attack to use on me even though he was on top. Good points: - Matt provides very good advice on the best way to attack and then how to escape these most difficult attack. I like the approach of learning both sides at the same time. I do not think I saw this approach used to this extend in any other instructionals. I learned many important details for attacks as well. - The explanations are very clear - I like the suggestions on how to drill the moves Bad points: - The instructional is a mix of a multiday seminar video with some in-studio footage. I don't have strong objections against using seminar video, however I feel it may be of lower quality. - Pretty frequent audio mishaps when the microphone is hit during the demonstrations. - The instructional structure can be more crisp. Some repetitiveness.
Response from BJJ FanaticsThanks for your review! :hugging:Makes your guard IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS
Mastering The Lapel Guard Volume 4: Worm Guards by Braulio Estima
I have had the unique pleasure of training and learning from Braulio and Rodolfo in the past. People have no idea the level these guys are at. Usually when people think lapel guards they think of Keenan Cornelius but the first time I’ve ever seen lapel guards used was at Metamoris when Braulio used it to stop Rodolfo from passing. Rodolfo is the greatest guard passer to ever walk the face of the earth and Braulio completely neutralized his passing game using the secrets he shares in this dvd. It’s a must have for anyone serious about taking your guard to the next level. As always much love and respect to both athletes.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Collar Chokes
Attacking The Neck by Jerry Burns
A lot of useful collar chokes shown by a highly respected black belt. Professor Burns has a teaching style that is great for kids and adults from beginner to advanced students. He breaks down each technique so that they are easy to learn. You will learn some basic to advanced collar chokes with this video.

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Open Guard The two Foundations Of Guard Play by John Danaher
I love John’s material of jiu jitsu, no matter if it’s defensive or offensive, it’s great. I love to study the theories behind the techniques, to make it work better overall. There’s a lot of good material out there, but his material he explains like no one I’ve ever heard before . Definitely worth the money.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:worth the price for sure !
The Belly Down Footlock From Single Leg X by Tarik Hopstock
the price is very fair, the dvd is very short and the content is very mad as usual with Tarik. The lapel stuff is excellent and it works on the mat even with advanced belts. One of the best instructor, i like the way he explains. I already wait his next DVD to buy it.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great instructional video!
Great instructional video!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Details is key!
No Gi Fundamentals: Top Game by JT Torres
Even Volume 1 itself has a lot of great details that was worth it for me. JT clearly explains the key details in an easy to understand manner, emphasising couple of times, when necessary, on the most important ones, explaining how and why they work and how people usually do things (yep, totally like I was taught to do it, gave me smile every time ;)). And all of this not only improves your passing success rate, but also keeps you injury free as much as possible. Especially knee cut, that pass alone is golden! Will digest and incorporate into my game and switch to the next Volumes. Great stuff, highly recommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:No Gi Open Guard Volume 2: De La Riva & Waiter
No Gi Open Guard Volume 2: De La Riva & Waiter by Lachlan Giles
I am happy to get all the various positions for DLR/RDLR/Waiter/etc all discussed coherently as a system, and the reasons for plaything that game vs an primary inside game.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent video of chokes from all positions
Attacking The Neck by Jerry Burns
Excellent video from a great instructor. Professor Burns takes his time demonstrating various collar chokes from all positions. Some basic, but mostly more advanced techniques here, but he simplifies it. Love it.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great K Guard series..
Special "K" Guard by Neil Melanson
Neil Melanson is a true technician that breaks down things in a way that everyone can understand. I don’t normally play K guard but it was something that I was interested in trying out. Plus at the time of purchase it was during the lockdown and it was daily deals. So it was too good of a deal to pass up. Have fun with this instructional because, there’s a lot of breaking down your opponent in this one.

This is really awesome. I’ve been wanting to get started with the whole TacFit stuff since I first heard about it. I have always struggled with my range of motion. Now with the grapplers tool box I have a better range of motion and my body just moves better when training.

Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I just got back into BJJ after a 2 year layoff. This was one of my first instructional purchased along with Prof Danaher’s guard retention instructional during the lockdown. The break down of everything really helped me to drill at home so when I finally got back to the mats I had the muscle memory of my basics. Great for all levels for sure!!

STF Attack Series by Erik Paulson
I first came across Erik Paulson's tutorials almost 20 years ago on a BJJ website. They were short videos that I would download via dial up internet, and even then his material was solid gold. Erik is a BJJ black belt that uses his catch wrestling knowledge to come up with moves that are great for catching people in BJJ. All his instructional material that I have seen over the years has been first class. I saw this video on Erik's instagram and have been frothing for it to be released. I have used the step over toe hold several times working in law enforcement as a safe was to restrain dangerous and resisting offenders, it is a very versatile move and I could not wait to see Erik's take on using it for submissions. So far I have only watched the first video, but it is absolute solid gold, I can see multiple opportunities to catch easy, unexpected submissions in my BJJ training against open guard, knee shield etc. We are currently locked down here in Australia, but I cannot wait to get back into the gym and tap everyone out with these techniques!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great instructional!

Pass Prevention by Firas Zahabi
I wasn‘t sure if buying an instructional on my level would be worth it. But it is definitely! Zahabi is a phenomanal coach and explains the techniques and concepts very well. These techniques and concepts are pretty easy to learn and after some drilling time you will hit them in rolling, even as a white belt.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Old school gold
STF Attack Series by Erik Paulson
Old school submissions being revived for a new generation of grapplers. BJJ Fanatics continue to up their game with these brilliant instructionals. Like Erik Paulson says in the introduction, the STF, or the stepover toehold facelock (also known as a leg ride and reverse head crank), was innovated by the late, great catch wrestler Lou Thesz. The STF has now since been popularized in show pro wrestling but it started off as a legitimate submission innovated by Thesz during his competitive sparring contests in the 1930s. For those who don't know who Lou Thesz is, he was one of the last true shooters in professional wrestling as it made the gradual transition from legit sport to athletic sports entertainment. He was taught by very dangerous men but since there was no MMA or professional submission grappling at the time, Thesz wrestled professionally to continue to do his sport. The legendary Gene LeBell, who was taught a lot of his submission grappling by Thesz, has said that Thesz was one of the most dangerous men he knew. To put it simply: He was the real deal. Paulson brings the hold back to its real submission grappling roots with a variety of entries, picks and setups. It's a versatile move that can also transition to ankle locks, heel hooks and classic catch submissions like the half boston crab. For those looking for something different to add to their ground game, this instructional is highly recommended.
Not worth it to be honest.
30 Day Fighter Challenge by Lockhart and Leith
I bought the 30 day course to get some help with losing weight. Instead this course was just some nutritional facts without a 30 day plan. Very disappointed. Bernardo please look at this course and evaluate it please. It isn't worth it. Just like what another person in the reviews was saying, most of the facts that are shared are easily to be found for free. The additional parts on cutting weight might be interesting for high level competitive combat sports athlete's though, but it wasn't for me.
Worth it
Go Further Faster Bundle by John Danaher
This is a LOOOOOOONG series if you were to break it down into dvds it would be about 64 discs. So the cost is somewhat justified. The videos are high quality in information sound and video. It’s a great investment for those who are new to the art and even those who are a year or two in.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Very good, but very similar

Buzzsaw Passing: No Gi by Andrew Wiltse

The Encyclopedia of Guard Retention by Lucas Valente
World class details and organized for any belt level. The instructional definitely improved my game. Lucas has a very flexible guard but he made sure to show techniques for people who aren’t as flexible any one can do them. The instructional has a lot of content it’s worth every penny.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Strength training for grapplers. Can't go wrong with Pavel and the StrongFirst team.
Kettlebell StrongFirst by Pavel Tsatsouline
I've been following StrongFirst principles and Simple and Sinister since I started training. Once I reached the simple weights, my training partners started taking notice. If you have an interest in kettlebells and how they can improve your grappling look no further. The first program is similar to S&S, but the rep schemes are curtailed towards grapplers. We already take abuse on the mats, why **** yourself in the weight room? This is intelligent programming that doesn't get in the way of your sport.
